CONTEMPORARY PILATES

Attendees are taken on a journey of core movement sequencing and breath work. The intention is to move into new territory; to help individuals refine awareness, boost proprioception, enhance coordination, build strength, gain balance, foster flexibility and healthy range of motion, forge connections in both body and mind, and ultimately improve physical and mental well being.

Pilates sessions are one hour in length, can be one-on-one, paired with another individual, or amongst a large group setting; this depends on parties involved and details of interest. These details (allotted space, number of potential attendees, mat vs. apparatus, specific areas of interest, etc.) can be discussed upon your booking inquiry. Sessions can take place in clients’ homes or designated spaces, whichever is of preferred preference.

Goals can simply include anything one aims to achieve. Dissecting issues such as chronic pain, deficiency of strength and/or mobility, imbalance, lack of awareness, and the desire for rehabilitation are commonly threaded themes. Encouragement of proper anatomical alignment is of utmost importance.
