Amy Moore is a Certified Pilates Instructor, Professional Dance Performance Artist and movement practitioner. She has been teaching various types of movement modalities in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Florida for nearly three decades, as well as instructing workshops worldwide. Her multifaceted approach welcomes a vibrant exchange of intrigue and inquiry. Participants are safely guided and encouraged to explore principles that aim to pinpoint personal boundaries/restrictions, as well as help to identify personal strengths/weaknesses. The intention is to help participants foster a renewed physical + neurological awareness, boost proprioception, and to improve function of the body and mind overall. Individuals wishing to reach specific accomplishments and goals are offered pathways to help pave the way.

In addition to her Pilates and Performance practice, Amy believes in clean eating, ridding oneself of toxic influences, investing in body + mind + spirit, becoming aware of the elements we consume, positively influencing the way we connect with ourselves and the universe around us.

Amy’s teaching approach is highly influenced by those she’s grateful to have trained under, as well as her own study and practice. Sessions are tailored and specific to the individual client(s) in mind, aiming focus towards personalized movement regimens that are goal oriented and intentional. Though sessions are calculated and detailed, they leave welcomed time, space, and malleability for ongoing dialogue, exchange of thoughts, concerns, observations, and expectations.

Amy is certified to teach Pilates through ‘The Lab’ and STEELE PILATES, she holds a BFA in Dance Performance from The University of South Florida, Tampa, and she is a certified and licensed Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) instructor. Amy’s passion for movement and intrigue with the body blossomed early on and only continues to deepen with time.
